House Committee: TSA Web Site Exposed Data (NewsFactor)
NewsFactor - On Friday, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee issued a stern report criticizing the TSA for its handling of the private data passengers submitted to its Web site. According the report, the Web site had "multiple security vulnerabilities." Among other things, the site was not hosted on a government domain, it failed to encrypt data submitted by passengers, and it lacked proper certifications for the pages it did encrypt.
